Itinerary
Start the adventure traveling from Laclede to Sherman, Texas. A delicious lunch is provided at Pizza Ranch in Joplin, Missouri. Upon arrival in Sherman, unwind with an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites. Dinner is on your own, with options including Cracker Barrel or Olive Garden. Lunch included.
Enjoy a hot breakfast before departing for San Antonio. Along the way, experience a true Texas classic with a morning stop at Buc-ee’s. Lunch is on your own in Buda, TX, followed by an exciting safari at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. Explore Texas terrain on a rover ride, spotting 50 unique animal species. The day concludes with check-in at the Drury Inn & Suites on the San Antonio Riverwalk, a Kickback dinner, and an optional evening stroll along the Riverwalk. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Begin the day with a hot breakfast before exploring San Antonio with a step-on guide. Highlights include the San Jose Mission, Japanese Tea Gardens, Mexican Market Square, and the Pearl Brewery District, where you'll have time for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon, visit The Alamo with an audio-guided tour and virtual reality experience. Return to the hotel for dinner, then cap off the day with a relaxing GO RIO boat ride along the scenic Riverwalk. Breakfast and Dinner included.
After breakfast, journey to Fredericksburg for a morning of history at the Pacific War Museum, Nimitz Museum, and Bush Gallery. Enjoy lunch on your own in the charming downtown area before a guided trolley tour of Fredericksburg. Next, head to Waco for an overnight stay at Tru by Hilton. Dinner options near the hotel include Old Chicago Pizza, Don Carlos (Mexican), and La Madeleine (Italian). Breakfast included.
Start the day with a hot breakfast before exploring Magnolia Market, a quaint area developed by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Continue to Ft. Worth to visit the Stockyards, where you'll have time to shop, explore, and enjoy lunch. Later, tour RFD-TV's Cowboy Channel Studio and witness the iconic longhorn cattle drive. Overnight accommodations will be at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Ardmore, OK. Breakfast included.
Begin with a delicious breakfast, including Holiday Inn’s signature cinnamon rolls, before visiting the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial to reflect on this pivotal historical site. Lunch is included before exploring the Cowboy Hall of Fame, a premier Western history and art museum. In the evening, enjoy the culture of Bricktown with dining options and a scenic river taxi tour before returning to the Hampton Inn & Suites. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Enjoy one last hot breakfast before departing for home. Spend the journey reminiscing with newfound friends, napping, or joining in games and announcements on the bus. With a few rest stops and lunch on your own, you’ll arrive home feeling refreshed after an exciting and memorable week. Breakfast included.

One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
