Country Music Highway

Our journey kicks off as we travel to Bristow, IN for a wine-tasting afternoon at Winzerwald Winery. They also have delicious giant pretzels and wine slushies you might want to try before we continue to Louisville, KY, for our overnight stay. Enjoy the evening at your leisure after dinner on your own.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided city tour of Frankfort with an entertaining step-on guide. Discover the rich history and culture of Kentucky’s capital, including a visit to the impressive Capitol Rotunda. Following our tour, we’ll arrive at the US 23 Country Music Highway Museum for a delightful lunch accompanied by live music that celebrates the region's musical heritage. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the East Kentucky Science Center, where you can engage with interactive exhibits. We’ll then check in to Jenny Wiley State Resort Park for a two-night stay, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

As the sun sets, we’ll embark on a Moonshine Hideaway Tour and Tasting, where you’ll learn about the art of moonshine making and sample some local flavors. The evening continues with a delicious barbecue supper, complete with great food and live music from a local moonshine band. Be prepared for some audience participation tonight! Today promises a day full of fun and adventure! We’ll start with a relaxing pontoon ride on Dewey Lake, taking in the scenic views. Then, we’ll enjoy a hearty coal miner’s lunch while visiting the Van Lear Coal Museum, where you’ll learn about the area’s rich mining history. In the afternoon, we’ll tour Loretta Lynn’s Homeplace, immersing ourselves in the country music legend’s story. The fun continues at Webb’s Country Store, where you can enjoy music while sipping on RC Cola and snacking on Moon Pies! Tonight, we’ll have dinner at Billy Ray’s Restaurant, followed by an evening of performances featuring music inspired by Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll leave Jenny Wiley State Resort Park and head towards home, but not without a surprise stop along the way to make our journey memorable. Tonight, we’ll check into our hotel in Corydon, IN, where you can relax and enjoy the evening. Breakfast and Lunch included.

On our final day, we’ll continue our journey home with an included lunch at Pizza Ranch, where you can enjoy a delicious meal before heading back home. Breakfast and Lucnh included.
