Overview
Branson feels like home since we have traveled there for many years to begin the Christmas season. Each year, we try to rotate shows and keep Branson exciting. This year is no exception. We have some new shows, food venues, and a “Smith Tours Surprise Stop” that has not been done before! Come join us for some exciting Christmas music, great food and fun to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Itinerary
After we have gathered everyone along the way, we will stop in Springfield for lunch on your own. Our trip wouldn’t be complete without beginning our Christmas shopping at Tanger Outlet. We will get checked into Savannah House for our three-night stay. Tonight's included dinner is at Cheddars which includes five entree choices! We will arrive at Clay Cooper’s theater tonight to see Dean Z, who is an Elvis impersonator that is described as “the perfect Elvis” while he puts on a “concert”. What a way to begin our Christmas trip! Of course, hot cobbler and ice cream will be waiting for us at the hotel when we arrive.
You will not go hungry with the hot breakfast at Savannah House. What a great way to start your day. This morning, we will visit the World’s Largest Toy Museum. You will see many hard-to-find toys that you grew up with in this huge collection. They have BB guns, board games, Hot Wheels, dolls, magic tricks, model cars and so much more. Your included lunch today will be at one of our favorite locations in Branson, Pickin’ Porch Grill. Not only will you get lunch, but there are many craft booths located in the building! This afternoon, we are going back to the Hughes Brothers Christmas show. It has been a few years since we have visited, but we look forward to seeing how their family has grown. This afternoon, we have time for the “Smith Tours Surprise Stop” before going to another one of our favorite restaurants in Branson, Pizza Ranch, for another included dinner. Tonight's show features the Texas Tenors. You will be in for a treat with some great country music as well as Christmas music to sing along to. Dessert awaits when we return to Savannah House.
If you are a fan of 60’s music, you will love our first show this morning in the Clay Cooper theater, Hot Rods and High Heels. Feel free to sing along to some of your favorites as well as some of your favorite Christmas tunes. Lunch today is a new one for us. We are headed to Dockside Restaurant for another included lunch. The Haygoods, our afternoon show, is one of our favorites. You will be amazed with their talented family of musicians, as well as their ability to keep you entertained for two hours. Tonight is a special treat we are sure you will enjoy. Dinner will be served by students who are paying their way through college at College of the Ozarks, or “Hard Work U”. This is a special way to end our time together in Branson as these students impress you with their ability to take care of their evening guests. The food is outstanding, and you will enjoy visiting with your servers about their time at school. If you have room for an added dessert, you will know where to find it when we arrive back at our hotel tonight.
Now that we are in the Christmas spirit, it is time to travel home and share our memories as we prepare for the upcoming holiday season. Don’t forget about our stop at the Osceola Cheese Factory, where you can pick up some of your favorites for the holidays.

One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
