Itinerary
Our journey begins aboard a comfortable motor coach as we make our way to Louisville, Kentucky. This evening, get acquainted with the city's spirited side during the Ghost of Derby City Presentation, where the city's storied past is revealed through captivating tales and legends. We check into the Seelbach Hilton Hotel for 3-nights.
Step up to the plate at the world-famous Louisville Slugger Museum, home of America's favorite pastime. Next, sip and savor on the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, complete with a guided tasting. The afternoon takes us to the Kentucky Derby Museum, where traditions run deep. Then, lace up your walking shoes for a behind-the-scenes tour of Churchill Downs Racetrack. Cap off the afternoon with a touch of elegance at the Hatitude Workshop, where you'll design your very own Kentucky Derby-style hat! Tonight, the excitement builds at Twilight Racing at Churchill Downs, complete with a gourmet dinner on Millionaires Row. Place your bets, sip a mint julep, and experience the thrill of racing like never before. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Begin the morning with a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park, where champions of the past and present are celebrated. Here, you will find a memorial and statue of Man o' War, one of the greatest thoroughbreds of the 20th century, as well as many other notable horses that have been connected to the park. Then enjoy a private lunch buffet at the park, surrounded by the beauty of Kentucky horse country. After lunch, we will head to Mill Ridge Farm, where we will continue with our love for horses. There will be many activities at the farm that you will be able to participate in. This evening begins with a toast at Uncle Boojie's Distilling Company, where we'll enjoy another authentic Kentucky bourbon tasting. Even if you are not a fan of bourbon, you will enjoy the story of Uncle Boojie and his connection to Al Capone! We'll close our adventure with a memorable farewell dinner at The Cafe, a short walk from Uncle Boojies. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
After breakfast, we begin our journey home with stories of prohibition, horses, ghosts of Louisville, the engineering of baseball bats, and maybe even a Derby hat or two. We will also include a "Smith Tours Surprise Stop" on our way home. Breakfast included.

Cancellation Policy
One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
