Itinerary
Relax aboard our comfortable motor coach as we travel to the welcoming community of Pella, Iowa. Upon arrival, enjoy time to explore the town's charming streets, filled with unique shops, vibrant tulip displays, and festive cheer. Take a self-guided tour of the Historical Village before attending the Neil Diamond Tribute Concert at the Opera House, followed by a delicious dinner buffet. This evening, delight in the lighted night parade before we head to our hotel for a restful night in preparation for tomorrow's celebrations. Lunch and Dinner included.
After breakfast, our day begins with a guided city tour of Pella, highlighting its rich Dutch history and unique landmarks. You might want to try some of the Dutch pastries after lunch on your own.
The afternoon brings one of the festival's highlights: the Grand Parade. With reserved grandstand seating, you'll have the perfect view of colorful floats, traditional Dutch dancers, and rows upon rows of brilliant tulips. Following the parade, we'll return home, carrying with us the beauty and joy of this unforgettable festival. Breakfast included.

- Activity Level 1 – Easy: Walking is minimal, with short distances on smooth, level surfaces.
- Activity Level 2 – Moderate: Expect a comfortable amount of walking and some standing throughout the day.
- Activity Level 3 – Active: This trip features activities that may involve long walks and standing for portions of time.
- Activity Level 4 – Challenging: Perfect for travelers with good mobility who don’t mind plenty of walking throughout the trip.

Cancellation Policy
One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
