Itinerary
Begin your adventure with a stop at our 16th president's tomb and memorial in Springfield, Illinois. We will end our first day in Indianapolis, where you'll check into the Drury Inn and Suites. Enjoy their complimentary Kickback dinner service, offering delicious fare to start your trip off right. Spend the evening bonding over games and cards in the hotel lobby before retiring to your comfortable accommodations. Dinner included.
After a hearty included breakfast, we’ll depart for the Creation Museum, which presents a comprehensive look at the history of the world from a young Earth creationist perspective. Explore engaging exhibits covering topics such as the age of the Earth, the origin of life, and the fossil record. Highlights include the botanical garden, state-of-the-art planetarium, and other attractions. Start your visit with two short films in the planetarium. Enjoy a delicious included lunch at the museum’s dining facilities. Later in the day, we’ll travel to Dry Ridge, KY, for an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn. Breakfast and Lunch included.
After an included breakfast, we’ll begin our journey home. Enjoy fun games and activities on the coach, share memories with newfound friends, and reminisce about the enriching experiences of the past few days. Lunch will be on your own near O’Fallon, Illinois. Expect to arrive home by early evening, ready to share your adventure with family and friends. Breakfast included.

One of our most frequently asked questions is about the level of walking or physical activity involved with each trip. We introduced Activity Levels to help you choose the trips best suited to your comfort. Look for the Activity Level shown on each trip listing.
- Activity Level 1 – Easy: Walking is minimal, with short distances on smooth, level surfaces.
- Activity Level 2 – Moderate: Expect a comfortable amount of walking and some standing throughout the day.
- Activity Level 3 – Active: This trip features activities that may involve long walks and standing for portions of time.
- Activity Level 4 – Challenging: Perfect for travelers with good mobility who don’t mind plenty of walking throughout the trip.
One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
