Itinerary
Day one will be a long one as we make our way into Michigan with a stay close to one of the Great Lakes. Dinner tonight will be on your own in New Buffalo where you will find yourself taking a stroll after dinner along Lake Michigan to view the sunset.
Today we will arrive in Canada. Be sure to have your passport book ready as we enter through Windsor Tunnel in Detroit. Early this evening, we will arrive at the Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario and check in for a relaxing three-night stay! Across the street from this beautiful hotel, you will find Fallsview Casino Resort waiting for you. Tonight, our welcome dinner will be at Table Rock House Restaurant with a falls view.
After a hot breakfast, we will meet our guide again for another day of interesting history and touring as we make our way to Niagara on the Lake. Words can not describe the foliage in this 19th-century village found in the heart of Ontario Wine Country. You will have time to explore their shops and have lunch on your own before we continue our drive through wine country and stop at the beautiful The Chateau Des Charmes winery for a guided tour and tasting. Dinner tonight will be at the top of Skylon Tower in their rotating restaurant. You will experience views of the falls that you will want to catch with your camera to show your friends and family when returning home. Before dinner, we will catch the 3D/4D Movie “Legends of Niagara Falls” for our evening entertainment.
Following breakfast, we will depart with our local guide for another wonderful day of touring. This morning, we will visit the St. Catherine’s Museum and Welland Canal Centre to visit the Lock 3 platform, view a short video, and perhaps watch a ship cruise through the lock system. Then it’s off to Niagara-On-The-Lake, a well-preserved Victorian style 19th-century village, known as one of the prettiest villages in Ontario. This afternoon, we drive through this magnificent wine country and visit one of the region's renowned vineyards for a tour and tasting. Dinner tonight is at the top of the famed Skylon Tower featuring spectacular views of the Falls!
You will be trying to take in your last views of the falls this morning as we leave for the United States through New York at Peace Bridge. This afternoon, a stop at Lehman’s Hardware in Kidron, OH, will allow you to stretch your legs and possibly pick up a few souvenirs for your trip home. Lehman’s was voted “Best Destination in Amish Country” and offers a variety of gifts that you will have to have. Tonight, we will arrive at Drury Inn & Suites in time for the Kickback dinner and drinks.
After a hot breakfast buffet, we will push on down the road towards home as we visit with each other about all the fascinating things we have seen on our trip.

One Day Trips
If you decide to cancel more than 30 days out, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days and a replacement is found, a full refund will be made.
Multi-Day Trips
To receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, you must cancel prior to our deadlines. If you cancel after the deadline, we will refund any money we are able to recover from hotels, attractions, etc. Cancellation Insurance – Smith Tours recommends travelers take out trip insurance. Allianz is a company some of our travelers have had success with. The cost of insurance depends on age, the location and number of days traveling. You may call 1-800-284-8300 for assistance or go to www.allianztravelinsurance.com for more information. Insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, as well as medical protection. Travel Insured is another company that our travelers have used. If you want to take out trip insurance, it must be done within 14 days of making your trip deposit if you want any pre-existing conditions covered.
